How is the fitting price worked out?
Fitting uses the area of your floor. Materials use the roll width or whole packs needed to cover it. The room estimator shows both quantities, and the home measure confirms the written price.
What should I do before fitting day?
Plan to clear the room of furniture. If you need help moving it, discuss that at the measure so any additional cost is included in the written price.
Will the floor underneath need work?
That depends on its condition. Subfloor preparation is separate from the sample fitted estimate and is assessed during the home measure.
